Welcome to SonoCare
Welcome to SonoCare! On this channel we'll explore the world of point-of-care ultrasound in 5 minutes. A little bit about me and what you can expect from this channel going forward.

Lung Sliding: Lung #1
In this video, we're looking at what lung sliding is, and how to make sense of it. This is the first video in the lung ultrasound series.
4 Basic Lung Patterns: Lung #2
Lung ultrasound may seem confusing, but we can break down the important signals into four distinct patterns: A-lines, B-lines, consolidations, and fluid around the lung. In this video we’ll look at those four basic patterns and their clinical relevance. This is the second video in the lung ultrasound series.
Consolidations: Lung #3
In this video, we're looking at identifying a consolidation pattern, and differentiating between the two main causes: atelectasis and pneumonia. We'll see how the location, symmetry, air bronchograms, recruitability, and pleural fluid pressure can all help us determine what is causing the consolidation to be present. This is the third video in the lung ultrasound series.
Vascular Access - Following Your Needle Tip
Become faster, safer, and more efficient with all your needle insertions by using ultrasound. In 5 minutes, we'll better patient care by learning how to do it.
Peripheral IV and Arterial Line Insertion
Adding ultrasound to your toolkit can make a tricky IV or arterial line quick and easy. In this video, we'll walk through how to do it.
